MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company wishes to advise clients that the continued port delays of more than ten days in the port of MOMBASA and without any immediate solutions provided has caused us to proceed with the implementation of a Congestion Surcharge (CGS) on all cargo for Mombasa on the South Africa to East Africa Trade as of march 1st, 2012 Bill of Lading date as follows :
The implementation date of the CGS is the 1st MARCH 2012 bill of lading date (MSC Chiara ZE1207A) and covers all cargo to the port of MOMBASA ex South Africa.
