MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, Geneva, wishes to advise clients that the GRI previously announced as effective from September the 10th has been deferred.
Nevertheless, in view of the necessity of moving rates towards adequate levels, the following rates changes will be implemented on all cargo from North Europe and the Mediterranean to the Middle East and Far East as of October 1st, 2012 B/L date as follows: From the North West Continent, incl. the U.K., Scandinavia and Baltic:
- To the Far East: USD $ 150 per container, 20' or 40'
- To the Middle East (Gulf): USD $ 200 per container, 20' or 40'
From the Mediterranean Area: - To the Far East (including Japan): USD $ 200 per container, 20' or 40'
- To the Middle East (Gulf): USD $ 200 per container, 20' or 40'
